Yesterday I flew up to Exmouth. I stopped in Geraldton and Carnarvon for fuel and the total flight time was just over 6 hours. I had easterlies at the start which became south easterlies as I went further north. I found that 6500ft was a good height , above the thermals and associated turbulence, but still with a good 100knot+ ground speed. I was collected from the airport by Gav and had a great time last night. (slightly hungover this morning)
