Oh So Pretty!
She did need a fair amount of work to make her mechanically 100%
perfect, and now that the paint is also perfect I just have to decide
what to do with the interior. She looks good!
I am going to add some colour and hide that awful green over the next
couple of weeks and she will be a beautiful and eye catching work horse
when I have finished.
Merry Xmas Everyone!

Bakewell
Yesterday afternoon karl and I drove to mt bakewell in york. When we arrived it was on and we wasted no time getting setup and were in the air soon after. I had an awesome flight, I got almost 3000ft above launch at one point by catching thermals out front. Conditions were great I had a couple of 480ft/min climbs when in the core but never anything very rough. It was my first flight there for ages as I have been concentrating on my ga lately. It was dark by the time we had packed up and so we had a late dinner in town before heading back to perth. I love flying!

Cool Photos
Exmouth
It was a very short trip, arrived on Weds and left again on Friday. Still it was great to catch up with friends and I got a snorkel in and plenty of beer and good food. The Canon survived it's first underwater session and seems to take reasonable shots. There are a couple of things I am going to get fixed on MGZ but once again she performed well. We had tail winds the whole way up and for the return trip managed to stay in the strong NW at 1500ft all the way to Carnarvon, averging 125kt ground speeds. After Carnarvon there were some big CBs along the path but I diverted around them to be safe.
