UK VFR

I hired a Warrior from the Southend Flying Club and flew west over Essex
to Thurrock and took some photos of the farm where i grew up. Then I
headed over the river Thames past the QV1 bridge and over the top of
Leeds castle on my way to Headcorn in Kent. I landed there and took my
sister and her daughter for a quick scenic flight over their house and
some local villages before heading back to Southend.
I found the Warrior to be way more floaty on landing than the Cherokee,
it has longer wings with tapered tips. Headcorn is the roughest strip I
have landed on, it was also my first grass strip, I am very used to
gravel but the undulations were a new experience.
