1-You have way too much money, let's face it, perhaps you just pulled off a really successful heist, or are Bill Gates or someone else who has more money than you can ever hope to spend in your lifetime. 2-You like the idea of me doing exciting stuff that I enjoy and you like to read about it here. 3-Because I am not really expecting anyone to use this as you really want to surprise me by sending me enough money to buy my own plane ;-) 4-Because the end is near and you can't take it with you ;-) 5-Because the more I have to work the less I can play and that will curtail my adventures.

Still here? Ok, just on a side note... I am not a wealthy man unfortunately, but I do love a good adventure. If you are thinking of doing something interesting like jumping off Everest with a Hang Glider or perhaps an altitude record balloon drop or even thermalling over an active volcano, it will be right up my alley. I probably can't help you fund the project, but I would love to be involved and can help with sponsors and equipment.
